Acquired Competences upon program completion:

General Competences:

  • Designing and performing sociologic research (social data gathering, processing and analyze) in organizations and communities, cultural research, market studies etc.;
  • Diagnosis of the organizational environment, management of the social data systems;
  • Proper use of the applied sociologic perspective;
  • Identifying the needs for organization human resources development by applying specific methods;
  • The analyze of the human resources interaction;

Transversal competences:

  • Applying the strategies of rigorous, efficient, punctual work and of personal liability for the results, based on the principles, the norms and the values of the code of professional ethics;
  • Applying the technique for group relations, of the empathic capacities of interpersonal communication and of undertaking specific roles in the teamwork;
  • Efficient use of the IT sources and of assisted communication and training sources (Internet portals, specialized software applications, databases, online courses etc.) in Romanian and in an international language.

Professional competences:

  • Description of the concepts, theories, paradigms and methodologies used in the research carried on in the organizations and communities; Issuing hypotheses and operationalizing the key concepts for the explanation and interpretation of the phenomena which the organizations and communities are facing;
  • Identifying the methods, the techniques, the procedures and the proper research instruments for the research on various social phenomena and for gathering the empiric data;
  • The analyze of the empiric data and the critical and constructive evaluation of the own research endeavor (of the theories and methodologies used in the communities and organizations research);
  • Issuing some innovative methods of research of the social phenomena in organizations and communities by using the consecrated methodologies;
  • Management of the social data systems;
  • Description of the software procedures and applications which are specific for databases management, designed with social indicators;
  • Use of the IT systems specific procedures and software, based on social indicators in order to explain and interpret some various types of concepts, situations and processes;
  • Use of the specific software to solve typical issues for the management of the databases with social indicators;
  • Building and evaluating the social indicators which are relevant for the social research;
  • Creating and managing databases with social indicators;
  • Diagnosis of the organizational environment;
  • Analyze and interpretation of the organizational environment based on the specific management strategies;
  • Radiography of the organizational context based on the specific knowledge;
  • Performing the diagnostic of the organizational environment based on the human resources issues;
  • Evaluation of the specific strategy for the diagnosis of the organizational environment;
